January 11, 2016We are extremely delighted to announce that G-Point audio is now the official distributor for Audiofilia in the UK!
We are honored to be approved by this very discerning team of designers and musicians as they raise the bar to exceed even their own high values let alone that of their customers. Very soon the first samples will be available for audition in our own venue as well as in chosen demo rooms in the UK.
Audiofilia has 3 main ranges of speakers to offer: Studio Monitors range, respectively AF-SM 1, AF -SM 2 and AF- SM 3.
Then, the home-friendly stand-mount range, again offering 3 models to consider: AF-1, the company’s best seller AF-2 and the latest addition to the family – AF – 3.
And finally the top of the range Floor – standers , represented by six models respectively: AF-S4, AF-S5, AF-S6, AF-S7, being more traditional looking speakers when seen for the first time and then there’s the magnificent AF-NATURAL, and the absolutely crème de la crème flagship AF-S8.
This company also offers an extended range of amplification to match these outstanding speakers, which we are planning to add to the portfolio. The uniqueness of Audiofilia speakers is rooted in the unusual way that they are built. All cabinets are manufactured from harmonic wood, which resonates as with all the other component parts used, hence speakers are ” tuned ” in the same way as are instruments, for example violins. These loudspeakers are not just built from MDF or plywood and damped. This is master craft approach coming from Luther heritage, no surprise then that all people behind the brand are actually musicians themselves. The process of tuning involves the unique “S” System, a proprietary technology owned by AF and the result of a 20 years long development cycle, spanning from traditional research in the field of acoustics to studies in Lutherie as well as on material resonance and density. It is a fresh, innovative and exclusive physical-pneumatic system which finds its application in the assembling technique used to create these fine AF instruments!
Stay tuned to hear more soon 🙂
