We are proud to announce that ALL IN ONE Riviera Audio Labs’ AIC-10 amplifier scored again a wonderful review on an independent audio web-zine from Germany called #MusicalHead. As original is published in German therefore for our followers convenience we are putting an English translation of the test below. When comparing that test to the early 6Moons’ 1st View, Fidelio’s approach is much more complex and focused on Headphone features, which given his advanced knowledge on that subject , might be especially interesting for all cans enthusiasts. We are grateful for such an mind opening write up. Pictures and copyrights of the text are both courtesy of the Musical Head.
This is the saddest information today which just arrived by the phone from friends in Poland. Tomasz Stanko – the biggest figure of The Polish Jazz and musician of the Iconic format, has passed away early morning in Ontological Hospital in Warsaw. Artist was fighting back a lung cancer since few months. He was 76. Farewell Tomasz and R.I.P in peace.
In 2017, just as it appeared on the market we put our hands ,eyes and Ears on the Italian new-comer into the audio world: Riviera Audio Laboratories. At that point we loved the look and we only knew the sound of company’s integrated AIC-10 amplifier, which sonic-wise put it spell over us already. But it took us few more months to research RAL‘s approach deeper and finally go for the brand representation in the UK.
Munich’s High End event associated mainly with audio hardware is what web says year after year. That’s nothing new. But from an industry person’s perspective, these special four days are actually a very enjoyable social ride. For us interactions come before all else and that’s why my first Munich High End 2018 report covers this subject exclusively. Enjoy!
We have been awaiting a long time for that review to happen. Heavy stuff is never easy , for both: moving around as well as for reviewing. Finally STACORE’s most Advanced anti-vibration platform, more of that – in its latest version, has been published. Enjoy reading, as this is not just another platform. It might be the last platform you might need or want to move, and that is not certainly due to its weight.
Sveda Audio, active speaker manufacturer based in Poland, is mainly associated with the professional audio industry. But their fame is growing rapidly and more regular music listeners are starting to pay attention to the home audio solutions offered by the company. This review of Blipo active monitors written by Dawid Grzyb should help to understand more about how well made home active set up should be like. We have proudly added Sveda Audio to our portfolio as one and only manufacturer for the reason, which you are just about to find. Enjoy!
GigaWatt ,our power conditioning leader, just replaced entire generation of their products with the latest EVO+ generations. Given the fact that the previous one last over 4 years remaining unbeatable, it is quite an achievement. So when GigaWatt’s basic PC-2 EVO+ has been reviewed by Hifi Knights we had been all ears, knowing already what’s going on once the latest stock arrived.
This write up is following the regular review of the Pacific DAC we published here. But it doesn’t focus on DAC per se or comparing dac models available on hand. It clearly gets into the subject which interests us all most: the tube rolling.Once the leading test platform had been established Dawid clearly focused on tubes only to avoid any misconducts which switching between the different machines could course.
It is a great opening of the year for everything vinyl related. From early start of the J.Sikora TTs to he main subject of today’s write up: The Ultimate RED Eye phono interconnects by KBL Sound. Marek Dyba managed to go through an extended variety of products like: J.Sikora Basic turntable, Acoustical Systems Aguilar , AirTight PC-3 & Acoustical Systems Archon cartridges, phonostages: Grandinote Celio mk IV, Ypsilon VPS-100 + step-up, all to find out as much as possible about the latest KBL’s Ultimnate version of their classic RED Eye phono ICs. Go for full review under the link above or click more to scan through the highlights.
Long time awaited review of the latest flagship DAC from Lampizator’s stables – The Pacific is now on. Needless to say that we are extremely happy and proud to see such a mature write up and well put together thoughts. The product like that is not easy to recognise and describe properly. We do hate a wax poetry here in The House of an Artisan Audio and it takes a lot of knowledge to understand the nature of the music and explain it to the other through the prism of the unit’s performance. On the other hand ,Dave , as a a man who lives daily with his Golden Gate DAC since more than 2 years now , has both : the knowledge and the skills !
