Grandinote’s secret formula is based on the transformers.  This is the beating heart of the technology behind the brand, gambling on high quality inductors.  But was it really a gamble?  Not at all!

Max built his original amps based on tubes.  Then he tried to make them better, electing to use solid state circuits without any use of tubes.  In both incarnations, he made great progress, but it’s the transformers that are Max’s true secret.  He designed and optimised them from the ground up, to specifically suit the purpose for which they were intended.  This is somewhat rare for any product these days, and, to use an appropriate turn of phrase, the devil is in the detail.  He called the science behind his transformer design Magnetosolid® Technology. Magnetosolid Technology has been clearly described in detail by Max on his company website, so follow the above link if you would like to find out more.

In addition to his transformer technology, Max also created his own speaker range to match, which he called Mach.

Grandinote Essenza, Divina, Araldo and Demone models are based on the Shinai, Prestigio, Silva and Futura respectively.  They implement the superior output stage based on superior materials and implementation of the exclusive Magnetosolid®-VHP technology.

The upgrade can be performed on each power amplifier transforming the Shinai into the Essenza, the Prestigio into the Divina, the Silva into the Araldo and the Futura into the Demone, Grandinote’s signature amplifier.

The upgrade includes complete overhaul of the power amplifier, substitution of the output stage and substitution of the front part.

5 year’s warranty is given on the upgraded product starting from the upgrade date.
