There are new version of this fantastic preamplifier available now. After trial period new preamp with a head amp on the board is available to customers now . The build in head amplifier is based on SE design ,which is an absolute rule with Mr. Absolutor. The valves employed in this design to hold the duty are well known and beloved EL 84 penthodes.

Amplifier offers mighty 8 Watts of power per channel ,hence additionally had been equipped with speaker terminals ,to be used as a full functional integrated amp for high efficiency speaker units. Amp shares the same double chassis as regular Absolutor preamplifier .Recommended sensitivity is 90db and more ,so all single driver and horn designs apply . But some dynamic spkrs doing equally well with this amplifier. For example our own Hurricanes from Cube Audio sounded great on listening tests with Absolutor amplifier with absolutely no driving issues.
